INFRARED LAMPS AND ANIMALS: 100% SAFE

  • News

Keep your pets warm and safe with infrared lamps as we approach the coldest time of the year! We know that pets are another member of the family and must be treated with the utmost care. Our infrared lamps are not only suitable for domestic and commercial purposes, but can also be used to keep even our furry friends warm! Boasting a range of health benefits, choose infrared heating to keep your pet away from the cold this winter!

HOW DOES INFRARED HEATING WORK?

Unlike standard radiators that heat the air around them to create a convection current, our lamps emit infrared rays that bounce around the space. These rays will impact objects and people, absorbing heat and re-emitting any residual energy into the space around them, continuing the process. Infrared heaters are popular in homes with pets because they offer a number of advantages, including various installation methods. Our infrared lamps can be installed in 3 different ways: on the wall, on the ceiling or on the floor.

If you keep a pet at home, such as a cat or dog, a wall panel could be a great option. By taking the appropriate installation option, you can make sure your pet stays safe and avoids getting burned, while you enjoy a nice warm room. We suggest pointing the infrared lamps in the direction in which the animals sleep. As this is the focal point, you can ensure their bedding stays warm for when they take their nap.

SAFE HEAT

With a range of control options, from a remote control or directly from your smartphone, you can ensure that the space remains safe and comfortable even for your pet. Since animals have specific habits and naturally have fur or fat to warm up, it is essential to maintain the warmth of their natural environment. If you are not sure which temperature to select, we recommend that you test one with your animal and carefully observe how they react. If they seem uncomfortable, simply adapt the temperature accordingly.

In addition to the health benefits of humans, infrared rays are also beneficial for your four-legged friends! With waves impacting molecular surfaces, infrared lamps will help your pet’s muscular condition, elasticity, softness and performance. They can also relieve aching or stiff muscles and keep them relaxed, especially when it’s cold outside.

Unlike halogen lamps, infrared lamps do not dazzle and their eyes will not be damaged. This will also help their sleep as they will not be disturbed by a constant orange glow. Did you know that many horse owners use infrared heat therapy whereby a horse under a panel receives an increase in vitamin D? This will not only provide the benefits listed above, but it can also give them healthy and shiny fur, increase their oxygen supply and relieve any cramps.

EASY CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Our infrared lamps generally require little maintenance. During their lifetime of 30 years, the heater will need occasional cleaning with a microfiber cloth. If fur or dirt enters the heater, simply use a slightly damp cloth to remove the dirt, with wide and even movements. Also, do not worry about any water damage as the heaters are protected from water splashes.
